Bright Eyed & Blog Hearted! Excited But A Little Bit Scared!

I was skimming through Instagram a couple of weeks, as you do, when I came across a mention of Bright Eyed and Blog Hearted, a course being offered by Rachel McDonald, and being a newbie blogger I thought I would have a look! Well, everything about the course and Rachel's website just called out to me and I thought "I have to do this course!".

I then, of course, started hearing that little inner voice that said "Why do the course? No-one will read your blog and it's expensive for a little hobby that won't amount to anything". So I hummed and hawed for a couple of days, spoke to my hubby, and really thought about it. In the end I decided that something that was calling so strongly to me was worth the time and money and I promptly signed up.

Of course, I had to make a little side trip to Typo to stock up on some totally necessary stationery supplies from their new Peanuts Range to use in my course work. So with my new binder, dividers and sticky notes I was ready to go! My pre course work arrived and I got straight into it. It's amazing how sitting down and having to write your goals, ideas and plans can really focus you. I have always been a list maker as I find it helps get things done and I think this is an extension of that. Do you make lists and plans? Do you find it helps if you do? I also find being addicted to stationery helps as there's always a good reason to buy a new notebook (or two or three!!)
The course is very interesting and has put me in touch with some like minded people. It's always good to hear other, more experienced people's ideas and thoughts and I'm hoping to get to a local meet up in couple of weeks to be able to put names to faces and just catch up with some of the other bloggers.
Anyway, at the moment I'm enjoying  the time I spend on my blog and I hope other people do too. the course can only help to make it better I'm sure, so watch out blogging world, here I come.
Anyone else doing something different/outside their comfort zone at the moment? Let me know if you are and how you're enjoying it!

Susan
